Q. How much will a disco cost me?
A. It all depends on how long you want the disco for, how big the room is, what type of event you're having and a few other factors. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
Q. What music will you play?
A. We will play whatever type of music you want us to play, we will try to accommodate all requests given to us but will use our experience to play the right song at the right time to get people dancing.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit to secure the booking?
A. Yes a 50% deposit is needed to secure all bookings.
Q. Will I get back my deposit if I cancel the event?
A. Normally not, although this is at our discretion.
Q. When do I pay the balance of the money?
A. You can either pay the DJ in cash on the evening of the disco before any entertainment begins or by cheque 7 days before an event.
Q. When do you need to get in to set up the equipment?
A. It usually take between 40 minute and 1 hour to set up a disco. we normally get to a venue an hour before the start time, although we do offer an early set up service which is useful if your wedding is in the same room as the evening entertainment.
Q. Do you have PAT (Portable Appliance Test Certificate)
A. All Equipment is PAT tested.
Q. Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
A. We have £10 million public liability insurance through the National Association of Disc Jockeys.
Q. How long have you been doing discos for?
A. I have been doing discos for 18 years, any other DJs we recommend have been DJing for 5 years +.
Q. What equipment do you use?
A. We use a computerised music system with several thousand songs stored on it, connected to a 1000w amplifier & matching speakers. We use LED Par can lights for general mood lighting and different types of effect lighting for different types music and different atmospheres (smoke & bubble machines are used if requested).
Q. Will you play on past the set finish time?
A. This is at the discretion of the DJ and must be agreed with the venue management. The cost of the extra time is £25 per 1/2 hour or part thereof, and must be paid before any extra entertainment.
